Coming to hawaii I knew no one. I knew i was coming here and living with random people. honestly I expected the worst, I expected to have some roommate that either be just weren't the same or that she wouldn't know much english. I got nothing close to that, i got better. Someone that speaks very good english and at times too much, someone that i can relate to in every way. Meet Pollie! I gave her that nickname the first week i moved in and its just stuck, don't ask where it came from but she is known by Pollie by just about the whole school. She is honestly such a great blessing in my life. She has been one of the greatest friends. I really feel like were sisters, we fight like sisters, laugh like sisters, cry like sisters, make fun of each other like sisters and care for each other like sisters. I know that heavenly father put her in my life at this time for a reason. she is such a great example to me of a true friend. I love her and will miss her so much when i go home.

MAL!!...you say that I was a blessing in your life, but I think it goes the other way around...you were the answer to my prayers...away from my family and alone in Hawaii I was getting quiet discouraged...my prayers were answered when you finally showed up...I thought for sure I was going to be stuck with another one of those stupid utards...but boy was I wrong...from the start you brought out the best in me...you were such a good example to me and I looked up to you so much...you literally were the answer to my prayers and one thing that kept me going...they say people come into our lives at a certian for a certian reason and I know now how true that is...you came at the perfect time and made me strong...I'll never forget all the good times over in Hawaii...you mean the world to me, I hope you'll always remember that! Thanks Mal for everything...
